Founded 45 years ago, Ionis Education Group welcomes 35,000 students in 25 cities in France and some foreign countries. More than 100,000 alumni create a strong network in a number of sectors.

Focused on innovation, Ionis Education Group has developed four schools with the highest level of accreditation in the STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics): EPITA, for Computer Sciences, ESME, for Engineering, IPSA, for Aerospace, and SupBiotech, for Biotechnology. All Master's courses are delivered in English. All grades are based on ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System), which makes credits transferable. Credit transfers are evaluated by each receiving university. In the United States, two ECTS are usually equivalent to one U.S. credit hour.

EPITA, ESME, IPSA and SupBiotech are all accredited by the CTI (a commission within France's Ministry of Higher Education and Research). CTI also is a member of EQAR (European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education) and adheres to the same high-quality standards in higher education as ABET and the AACRAO (American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admission Officers) through Memorandum of Understanding.

Tuition Fees and Visas

Ionis Education Group believes that access to top education should be affordable: tuition fees range between $16,000 and $20,000 per full year. Ionis is also able to offer competitive tuition fees because its libraries are all online only, and its open-air space and sports facilities are limited.

The schools have full regulatory authorization to petition for student visas as France values cultural diversity. The four STEM schools are fully abilitated to seek up to five-year visas to France as members of Campus France, the French government agency that supports international students and researchers.
